The creative process

Sometime I see images as complete pictures in my head. Other times I know what image I would like to paint and I paint it. So many times I am blank... This creative process that goes on in my head can be crazy... I want to share my art with the world but there are soooo many artist far more talented than I. I have finally can to the realization that I can only be me. That does not mean that I can't practice my craft pant more and educate myself

Black History Month

Question ... What happened to Black History Month?  Last year, I searched the Internet  looking for some decorations for my annual celebration . I went to the party store, the big box store, the web and I found nothing. It's heartbreaking.

My friends, don't stop celebrating our achievements our contributions and our ancestors sacrifices. Talk about the importance of this month with your friends, family and community. Ask your elders to share their stories and share your stories with them. Don't let February pass without mentioning black history month.

I painted this picture in celebration of black history month. This piece is a 9x 12 painting on canvas board. It will fit nicely into a standard size frame of it can be professionally framed.
$150
